I've seen a lot of solutions for preserving wine once it's opened, and while I certainly can't argue that some of them are effective, I've always found that vacuum seals were a quick, affordable, and easy solution that significantly extended the life of an wine open bottle. Works on any bottle it fits in though, obviously.
